It’s a good knife nothing wrong no complaints I don’t expect this exact knife to be perfectly made but one thing I can say that there can be more time put into actually making the blade on the knife and it takes some practice to be able to open the knife properly without a struggle when it’s new !

I love my VT it is light fast and sharp . I also have a kershaw launch 1 but the release button is not as smooth as the VT and it is a little heavier overall the VT is my go too knife

i really like this knife it’s perfect size light. not cheep light but tight , fits my hand perfectly easy carry wight, came razor sharp Nice mirror fetish snaps open with authority! this one’s a keeper ! carbon composite in Lays adequate and nicer then usual on a knife of this piece range

I purchased the monthly subscription not knowing what to expect. I was worried it was a sham and that they only send out the minis or the small versions. Needless to say when it arrived and I opened it up I was pleasantly surprised to see a full size OTF knife! I love everything about this knife, from the blade shape to the feel and grippiness of the handle. It has a decent heft to it and there is no rattling or loose hardware in it! Very happy with my purchase!

The knife is perfect if you use it for what it is intended to do. The action is smooth and consistent. It will not penetrate very deep if you hold it up to an item and open it, but once again it was not design for that. I was very surprised at the weight, it is a heavy well made, solid OTF knife. Well worth the money. Glad I bought it.

Great deal. Definitely not the exact quality of microtech, but at the fraction of the price no guilt in using it as EDC. Mechanism is great. I had one knife of 4 that had faulty mechanism, but they took it back in and repaired it.

I like this otf knife a lot. The blade profile is great and I love that the coating almost has a rubberized feel to it. Its a tad on the heavy side but the fit/finish is great and the action is smooth and sharp. I'll probably snag another with a different blade profile soon..

Are OTF knives safe around young children? Yes! (*and No). My youngest grandsons are 4 and 6, and when they visit with us, they get into everything, sometimes even when they are warned not to touch potentially dangerous items. Expensive tools are never touched, but flashlights and other items are treated as "toys". Spoons for ice-cream are taken from a flatware drawer, while knives are never touched. I like drop edge knives, and the Viper Tec Hendrix XL is a great choice, if you do too. I have the DA model as well, and both knives work great, have a sharp edge right of the box, and as much as they look alike, they each have their own special qualities. The Hendrix is a lighter, wider handle knife, with a slightly shorter blade, while the DA is more flat, is a slightly heftier knife, and is the one I prefer in my front jean's pocket because it doesn't bulge out. Needed a new duty knife and ended up purchasing this one mostly due to aesthetics but it had quite good reviews. After owning it for about a week or so, the blade came sharp, the blade release is quick and not too difficult to retract the blade. The Damascus is a very unique look on a switchblade and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Overall love the fit and finish, does what I need it to.

I actually have 2 viper tec otf knives and a third on the way! The first I had a couple issues with. The belt clip screws fell out and the knife started sticking and not fully opening or closing. I contacted Viper Tec about the issues and they said return it and they would repair or replace it. It was replaced with a brand new knife. They stand behind their work!! Great knives and customer service!
