Ordered this knife as a gift for myself! Out of the box is this knife is razor sharp! Action is lighting fast. Knife is solid and well constructed. Perhaps the only thing I did not like was the pocket clip, so I took it off!

This is about the same size as my Kershaw, which has been my edc for the last decade plus. It opens as it should and has a solid lockup. There is no struggle working the action with my left hand.

Really like this knife compared to the black rocket I got. It's less slippery in the hand due to the material and finishing. And the concave switch is the perfect shape that grabs my thumb nicely.

I love this little knife. And being an OTF just sweetens the deal. This is one of "Those blades" that you want to have around, "just in case" you need to have a blade around. Fits anywhere, easily concealable.(If you don't want to carry it on your keychain?) Great smooth action, flawless victory. It was between this and the Mantis. I guess I'll have to buy a Mantis next?

Solid and substantial feelin in your hand. Blade fires out on demand. Fast, Efficient. Here is the bonus …. Your fingers are not at risk when retracting blade. Until now the normal action on closing a knife you could easily badly cut them. This new blade action eliminates this risk.

I got a mini mantis that I didn’t even order and it’s awesome it hasn’t failed me yet. One side is less sharp the the other but that’s because of the mechanism. It’s super fun and durable and the side that is sharp can shave hair off your arm.

A fantastic EDC knife. Great blade. Super action is 100% reliable. Very fast and tight lock up. Just a great overall knife. The only knock I have against the knife is the weight. It is heavy. The knife (in my opinion) would be just as good at maybe 2/3 of its current weight. Either way, I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.

this is a BAK, big ass knife, with good snappy opening action. It came extremely sharp although I did add another layer of sharpening to it to make it scary sharp. I had imagined a smaller knife even though I had seen the size specs on it, but it is very large and thin, which makes it a great right front pocket carry knife. Viper Tec should come up with some more out the side button opening autos models, at least put as much R&D and creation into them as much as you do with your OTFs.
