I am highly impressed with the heft and quality of this knife. I have the large blue phantom. When you pick it up you immediately realize that it is a significant piece of equipment. The coating on the case of the knife is slightly rubberized and soft to the touch. It lays perfectly in the hand and the fit is exceptional for a knife under a hundred dollars. This is my second OTF knife from Viper Tec. Unfortunately, I lost my first one, so I had to replace it. Viper Tec always has great customer service, prompt shipping, and great follow-up. When they came up with a sale I couldn't refuse, I had to pull the trigger, again. My only regret is that they don't have the knives I like in drop-point. That is the style I prefer. Other than that, I find the knives of great quality and workmanship - especially for the price.

I love the size of these "small" OTF knives. This one ended up going to my wife as it is perfect size to fit in her purse! The action on it was a little tough at first but after a little bit of working it, it smoothed up a lot. Also pretty interesting to have the button on the face instead of the side. Definitely going to purchase more of this size of knife.

Initially sent wrong item, but Viper fixed that quickly. I love the look of the knife. I gave it a 4 star only because I am thinking sharpening it will be a PITA as none of my systems vices will hold it and still give me and hones enough room to work. I will say of all my 1,000+ knives in my collection, this one has received more "wows' and "ahhhhs" than all my others combined probably. Something menacing & sinister-looking about a 3.5" sharp needle shaped knife.

Seems like a good quality item, smooth functioning, loop adds grip stability and can also be used as striking implement. Wish the pocket clip was a little stronger/stiffer and reversible as far as mounting. Would help a lot with carrying/deployment orientation.
