Packing was not well done. Just put inside a courier plastic bag is a bad idea. At least pack it in a proper box to prevent item damage during delivery. The power adaptor is not really a cheap item.

As the largest fan Vornado offers, I expected it to be bigger. It is supposed circulate air and cool the room, but in practice, I only use it as a direct fan. I feel the air circulation claim is overstated. I tried to use it to replace another fan which rotates, but the issue then is that it the air is directional, and those outside of the zone do not feel the air at all. In my opinion, it is a good fan for direct use, easy to maintain, but limited if it is intended for wide cooling.

Delivery was really prompt as I received my fans the day after my order. The fans arrived in good condition and function well. It is difficult to tell if the room is considerably cooler compared to regular stand fans but the air does seem less stale.

1. Why does the standing fan start with the highest speed? Usually lower speed is required.
2. In the instruction manual, the location of the serial no label should be made known.
Difficult to find.
3. Speed selection switch is tight and crude.

The speed control dial can be improved. The degree of turn of the Dial is grossly out of proportion with the speed.

Great fan. Air column is all the way from the floor to the height of the fan. Fan is basically silent till probably setting of 60. Most of the time I use 20-30 as I’m sitting only 8 ft away. Build quality seems good. Remote feels flimsy. They should design a magnetic holder for the remote/fan. The fan has a multi voltage power block attached, but this is not mentioned anywhere.

I received the unit, promptly assembled the unit and placed it in my master bedroom. During the first time of use, I turned it on at 5am after having switched off the aircon and I had hope that the circulator would continue to circulate the cool air in the room for some time and and subsequently continued to ventilate the room.
