I always had problems keeping my retainers clean and remove build up. I never found brushing the retainer to be useful for hard to reach areas. I always end up stopping my nightly routine of wearing the retainer because it’s just not clean and not fitting correctly. After using this product once I was amazed at how clean my retainer was in under 5 minutes. I have started wearing my retainer again as my nightly routine. This device saved my retainer and plus got a comfortable fitment again.

I have had Invisalign for 4 months. I would spend 5+ minutes each night brushing each tray to get them clean and not cloudy. I dreaded my night routine to clean them. Now I pop them into the dental pod with a cleaning tablet, and they come out sparkling. No more brushing. If they still have cloudy material on them I run it through a second time. they look like the first time I put them in. I love my dental pod. It works fantastic.

The best thing about this device for me is the convenience. I'm only allowed my aligners out my mouth for 2 hours so the last thing I want to do is waste time manually scrubbing them or having them sit in a sterilising cup for 20-30 minutes. This device takes only 5 minuets and in my opinion gives a better clean than any other method, plus I think it looks great in my bathroom.

Purchased this for cleaning my daughter's night guard. It was VERY discolored from a year of nighttime usage. She was previously just soaking the nightguard in "Smile Again" cleaner, which was not getting any of the discoloration out. I wish I had bought this years ago. For a while I’ve used stuff for my clear retainer that not only leaves it brown, but tastes terrible… After using this about five times tonight, my retainer looks new. It really DOES work as advertised. But pro tip: upon first use like me you’ll likely have to do it more than once to clean out the gunk. I used a pod only on the first time; the subsequent times I only used warm water and made sure to flip my retainers on both sides.

FYI I'm a dental hygienist - I’ve tried the unit out with my personal retainers and I am very happy with it. I typically would just use retainer cleansing tablets in water but would find I would need to scrub them afterwards (which is usually discouraged to prevent micro-scratches) and with this unit they came out perfectly clean!

Ordering was easy. I did not realize that I needed to order the tablets and consequently I ran out and am waiting for the delivery. Now, I might need to order the wipes to clean the Xima dental pod, although it is still very new and seems fine. My night guard is still pristine as I have had it less than 2 weeks and got the Xima pod immediately. My appliance has never been discolored.

The bundle was a good deal but I wish a bundle was available with the Dental Pod Pro. Other than that, both items are user friendly and have helped to prevent any smells developing on my retainer. Before I got this product I had my retainer for a week and was manually brushing it and it was starting to develop a semen smell (I know, disgusting) so I’m really glad this bundle helps with odor control lol

This dental pod pro works really nicely, I have been using this since last two months now for my retainers. The only thing to keep in mind is overtime a simple cleaning would not remove the dense buildup. I had my doubts, but the Zima Pro Pod definitely works! My night retainers are clear now! They also feel fresher. The commercials say you don’t need to use tablets, but I did buy the Zima peppermint dissolving tablets to add to the water in the pod and I like them. I do break the tablets in quarters so that they go farther because they are a little pricey. I would make this purchase again. In fact, I am considering buying the travel version.

I am ao surprised in how well it cleaned my retainers. My retainers were really bad from not cleaning them. The machine i had never cleaned them like this new machine does. When I first was looking for ways to clean my aligner, I saw Zima, but thought I would purchase something less expensive. That was absolutely a mistake. Finally, I had to trash the cheap one and purchase Zima. Couldn’t be happier. It works well comes off the bottom for easy filling and rinsing. I also use the cleaning tablets. Although I didn’t take a Before pic (would have been rather grim), the After pic shows huge change in color (clear) and the accumulation on my retainer - 98% gone after one cycle. I also bought the Zima Go UV carrying case. I brought my retainer to my dental appointment that week and my hygienist took pictures to show the other hygienists, as she was also very impressed. My mouth guard was really in an embarrassing state despite my best efforts at cleaning it. It was a dark yellow color and after a week of daily cleaning it (the 15-min super clean and a tablet) there is NO film on it, NO smell, and it’s gone from a dark yellow to clear with slight yellowing. I truly notice a huge difference! Wish I’d bought it sooner.

I had Invisalign for a week when I decided I needed a better way to clean and place my trays while eating. This is a great way to clean the trays (and remember where I put them!) while I eat. You can see in the water and on the trays how much debris is coming off each time. I am so glad to have this for the remainder of my program and for my future retainer!

I work in a dental office and a coworker of mine recommended this device for my retainers. My coworker had bought one for her daughter and was so amazed with the way it cleaned, so I took the plunge and bought one for myself. Boy am I glad that I did!
