I got 3 bags with the tin bucket. Super cute!! I got 2 bags of Cajun and one garlic and onion. Easy ad drop into cockpit as is , seasoning packet is inside each bag. And add 4 cups of water. And patiently wait. Not too spicy fyi

I ordered the regular and the cajun varieties. The nuts were large and surprisingly sweet. They freeze well (drained) so you don't have to worry about making too much. Using the "crock pot method," you can adjust the intensity of the seasoning. If it's too salty, add a quart of water for the last few hours. If it's not "cajun" enough, add some cayenne. Well worth the price for the excellent quality.

Being from Virginia and with relatives in South Carolina, boiled peanuts ( correctly pronounced "bald nuts" if you say it fast enough with a southern accent) has always been a favorite. I was used to buying raw nuts in 20lb bags and firing up the caldron. I was honestly skeptical, but about an hour in the aroma filled the house and I knew it was gonna be great. I purchased a bag of original peanuts. I wasn't sure how this would go esp after a friend made some ans they were delicious! So I got the crackpot out and let them go...turning them every 3hrs a few times. Woke up the next morning and turned them to low...opened the bag and let them stay in there but all the while grabbing a scoop here and there. FANTASTIC!! They were cooked to perfection. Typically I would do my own and they would at times have too much salt or not enough. These bags have the perfect amount of salt. We did one bag in the crockpot and another in the pressure cooker. My preferred method after trying both is crockpot. Will definitely be buy more for football season!
