I was initially skeptical because I was thinking how can a fabric not trap heat if you use it all night? However, I am very impressed with the quality and material of the product. Holds up to Toddler accidents! I have two toddlers so a good mattress protector is a must. This one is perfect. It has a plastic backing but it does NOT make a crinkle sound.
