Being from New Orleans, this song reference is legendary. Originally, "Jock-A-Mo" was written by James "Sugar Boy" Crawford and made famous by numerous musicians such as The Dixie Cups, Dr. John, and, of course, The Dead...this shirt was a no brainer: I had to have it. Looks cool, fits great. It will be fun to wear to Mardi Gras and all of the Festivals in the city. This shirt is sure to get plenty of positive feedback. Peace!

Had this on at the store and it was cool to see the reaction of those "on the bus" who got it. Like a subtle unspoken understanding mutually understood. That is the great thing about many if not all of the designs. Non Fans will have no clue the meaning or relevance of the shirt but when you meet or see someone who gets it just a smile or simple nod of acknowledgment makes the purchase worthwhile.

About 20 years ago, I was seeing Steve Kimock at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland. Somebody came up to me and took the shirt off his back and begged me to trade away my Morning Dew shirt. I wasn't happy about it, but I decided to it was good cosmic energy. FINALLY, after 20 years, I found it on Jupiter's site, and I have my Morning Dew shirt again.

selected this shirt because I am an ALS victim. It's true what my shirt says... I need a miracle because there is no cure and no viable treatments to stop my deterioration. I hope my shirt inspires a doctor or scientist to find the cure. I am closing in on eleven years diagnosed with this effing disease - most people with ALS succumb 2-5 years after diagnosis - I'm considered 'lucky'. To be honest I wish I was gone already. Being wheelchair and bed bound is zero fun. I wouldn't mind contracting ...
