I contacted the company and they quickly addressed the issue and allowed for us to exchange the rings. I got you a size 9 and he got a 12 and they fit perfectly. Beautiful ring! I love the ability to wear something sparkly more often. I spend most of my time outside and metal rings just don't work for that.
