Die Farben der Gold-Stifte sind kräftig und die Stifte lassen sich gut anspitzen. Verblenden lassen sie sich auch ordentlich. Das Etui ist im Vergleich zu einer Metalldose sehr praktisch und wirkt stabil. Ich habe bereits die Wachsbuntstifte von Castle benutzt und finde, dass sich Details mit den Gold-Buntstiften besser ausarbeiten lassen. Für den häufigen Gebrauch sind sie gut geeignet.

These are the best colored pencils I’ve ever used. The colors are bright and blend like a dream. I’ve never used colored pencils that have such vibrant colors. This was a great purchase and there are so many wonderful colors. I also love that there are four drawing pads and a very informative booklet included. I highly recommend these pencils.

The painting is from the Castle Arts Academy Ducks in Acrylic Tutorial, using both Castle Arts acrylics and the Oil and Acrylic paper. The paper is a good surface for acrylic paints is reasonably thick and sturdy for that purpose. It is great value for the quality of paper with a good number of sheets at a reasonable price, so that if the painting is not a success I don't have to worry about wasting materials.

The range of colours is beautiful and the lay down of colour can be like a light mist or two coats of gloss paint - shiny and rich.
The artwork I show here has many colours working subtly together to add a glow to the whole scene. By using wet on dry and dry on wet I could build the colours. This is a lovely set! I have never owned a decent set of colouring pencils and decided to treat myself after signing up to a local art class. I went for the oil-based Gold pencils - they are a delight to use and blend beautifully.
