I was extremely happy with the quality of the Giclee print of my black and white photo. All the tones were accurately reproduced and the resolution is excellent. The quality of the paper is truly high quality and won’t kink or create dents when you handle it. I love the finish of the print, not glossy, almost like an eggshell finish. I've been living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for the past year. It is hit or miss getting good color prints and black & white prints. The local lab I have settled on does a good job, but paper selections are few. The print you made for me is perfect, and I should have gone much larger with it. I like the paper's warm tone. Love them. At first I was a bit shocked by the price tag but then after printing some off myself at the local library, and also trimming them myself, and bagging them myself, it is well worth it. Because I was using fine art paper I could only print one at a time which made what I thought was going to be a 10 minute job into a 1 hour job, then trimming and bagging took another hour. Stackhouse has been creating giclee prints of my artwork for several years both on paper and canvas. The quality of the substrate, ink colors, clarity and packaging are always outstanding! My most recent project was a 5x7 print on textured cotton heavy paper. I mounted it on a canvas panel, and coated with a gloss varnished for protection. I framed it without glass to match up with an original painting that was sold as a commissioned set of two pieces for a customer.
