I have been looking a 6'10" mini Moe since they came out. They are really hard to get. Hawaiian South Shore had them in stock. Bought it online on a Sunday and receive it 4 days later in California. Really stoked on this board.

These Halo fins are amazing! My 9’0 shoots down the line and holds into the face. No matter where I am on the board I can turn with ease. Highly recommend these fins. Mahalo from SoCal 🤙🏻

Customer photo review of USED Firewire MASHUP Surfboard 5'7 Five Fin FCS
Patrick B.
I got a 5’7 Mashup surfboard and I really like how it works as a performance Groveler. It is fast and turns on a dime. It may not be as fast as the Seaside, but it carves way more in the pocket. The Seaside is the fastest board I have, but when it comes to the 2-3 feet range and I want to step up my performance, I go to the Mashup.

Customer photo review of CJ Nelson PARALLAX PLUS 2+1 Fin (7'10-9'9) Thunderbolt Red+1
Franko Noah P.
I got the 8’3” parallax in Thunderbolt Black. The parallax plus Is a definite refinement from the earlier versions, slightly thinner rails and a more tame convex nose. Took this out in some well overhead rollers, ridiculous speed and drive. Was able to connect the sections from rockpiles to bowls on a high line trim. Im running the 9.5” parallax fin with the 3.5” sky sides, CJs recommendation on his page, might seem like too much fin, but it works incredibly. Hands down one of my favorite daily ...

Customer photo review of FCS II MICK FANNING Twin+1 Fin PC+AirCore XL Accelerator Template White
Tony D.
Don’t have a lot of time on the mick fins yet but so far I’m loving them. The MR two plus one fins have been my go to and the only thing I personally didn’t like about them is in bigger surf it was really fast and loose and tough for me to control. The mick two plus one feel like they have a little more bite and hold in bigger faster surf, which is exactly what I needed. Only had one session on the fins, but definitely liking them so far.

Customer video review of Takayama HALO CENTER FIN 6.5"-10.5"
Halo F.
The fin is super responsive. Actually, I sometimes forget I'm riding a single fin because it's really responsive on the bottom turn drives. If I want to walk on the nose, it's really stable and doesn't kick out. You don't have to step on the tail - once you set it, it runs pretty much limitless. I've been using the Halo fin for probably like three years now. Whenever that model came out, I tried it and I came back because I needed another skeg. I ended up buying the other size too, so I'm totall...

My name is Christian, I got this board about 2 months ago now. The thing is treating me so well , it catches waves like no board Ive ever gotten before especially at this length. Customer photo review of Firewire TJ Pro Mid (7'2 - 8'0) Ibolic with Volcanic Lam Futures

Just picked up my board from Air Cargo 7’8” TJ PRO MID (find it funny the board is under “Longboard” category) took it out of the box - waxed it - paddled out and had a great experience (waves had some punch but turned choppy- Big Island) I was surprised how small the board felt - really liked the thin rails. I feel with this size I can confidently take it in whatever surf I’m willing to paddle out in. Satisfied with the size I got (215#). Paddles easy. Small enough to whip around and take late ...

Great all around fin! I've always loved Futures Blackstix construction. My favorite set used to be the Machado Blackstix with the bamboo in it. This may be my new favorite. These fins are perfect for my Picese. Lots of drive, speed, and looseness. They are also versatile. Take off the rears and it’s twin fin fun. These fins aren’t coming off this board any time soon! I’ve tried different set ups, Rasta 2+1 and other quad sets. These fins feel natural and I don’t need to think about what the board is doing to do. Alohas!

This is a clip from my first time riding the medium endorfins and it was my first session on a new ibolic frk. I’ve surfed the fins for about a month now and I like how the fins are quick off the mark and I’ve done some really fun turns pushing really hard driving through turns. It’s been fun trying a different shaped fin from the AM2s I’d usually ride.

The reason that I came back to get it again is because it just lasts much longer than anything else that I've used. I use it for paddle boarding and also free diving. If you don't use it, then you get those really nice tan lines—you look like one of those skiers.

Customer video review of CJ Nelson PARALLAX PLUS 2+1 Fin (7'10-9'9) Thunderbolt Red
Kevin C.
The CJ Parallax in Thunderbolt red is the best shaped and constructed board in the market if you love cruisy, flow-state surfing, don’t want to kill yourself paddling, and expect your log to snap-to when you want to turn and effortlessly run down the line. Dig it so much that have it in 8’3, 8’10, 9’3, and 9’9. Clip shows the 8’10 cruising as a singlefin on a mushy windward wave. Im 6’2 / 185lbs. Get one, you’ll love it.

Customer photo review of JS Industries RED BARON 5'9 FCS HYFI 2+1
Dane M.
Board is fast, forgiving and easy to surf. Paddles good and the V bottom under the first half of the board helps the board get on rail easy and speeds through turns. The Modern Keels is the recommended fins in FCS for this board and it works great - no reason to change. Perfect board for the smaller/weaker waves that we get on the south shore most of the time. Thank you Dave, Chykka and the rest of the HSS Team for ordering the board for me from JS. Aloha and God Bless!

Customer video review of Lost Party Platter (4'11-5'3) Double Dart
Ernie
I picked up the Party Platter in full carbon. I was waiting for it to come out in carbon, and it is so good. It's super fast, very responsive, and easy to paddle. I swear it's one of the fastest boards I've ever ridden. It's really performance-oriented - the rail is nice and pinched in, it's foiled really nice, and this edge here, man, you can just feel it in the water. It also has that nice flex to it; you can feel the board flexing. It's real springy, and from heel to toe, the board just rolls...

Hi, I'm Noah Evin. The first Moe I got was the 7'2" Moe, which I bought used because it was impossible to find at the time. I actually first tested a 7'4" Moe from your shop when there were no Moes on the island. I loved the 7'2", and then when the Mini Moe came out, I got the 6'6". I've had the 7'2" for a little over a year. It's a really good, solid all-around board. I'm using the Harley Ingleby quad fins on the 7'2". I'm about 5'11" and 205 pounds. I've been riding the 7'2" Moe for at least a year now, maybe more. I'm about 5'6" and 206 pounds. I usually surf at Kewalos. I've been using it with the Harley Ingleby quad fins, and the quad setup works really well. This isn't my first Thunderbolt board; I had the Mid6 7'0" before, which is also a really good board. I've taken the Moe out on days ranging from small to about 4 feet. On smaller days, it paddles super well and performs great. On bigger days, it's not as user-friendly in air wave...

Sammy
Hi, I'm Sammy. I use the Real Sun Cover (RSC), and I love it. It's the best sunscreen. It stays on really well in the water during long surf sessions, and I don't get burned. It is hard to take off, but that's good because it means it stays on in the water. You can still feel it when you get out, which is how you know you're protected.

Harry
I got this wet rash from you guys 10 months ago. I'm a big fan of it. This is my second one—I lost the first one. This will be my third. Compared to other rash guards, the fit is great. I really like the feel of this one compared to the Decline one that I had. I am 5'10" and weigh just under 190 pounds. The size large is a perfect fit. I love it

Customer video review of HawaiianSouthShore Knit Surfboard Sock Stretch Mesh Non-Stick LONGBOARD - Fits boards up to 9'6
Nick
The thing's super badass. I personally like it a lot more than the cloth ones. The wax doesn't stick to it, and there's no fighting with it to get the board in when it's wet or the wax is all melted. I can throw it in right after I'm done in the water, and it dries really quick. It's awesome. I like them way more than the cloth ones.

John
I'm John, and I have the Mini Moe in two sizes - a 6'10" and a 6'6". I first rode it as a quad with the new Harley quads, which worked well and handled big surf. Then I bought the Power Twins because some guys were saying they were riding it like that, and it really spices up the surf. It's way more maneuverable, hitting the lip and everything, still controllable but way more fun. I didn't know that Harley actually designed those Power Twin fins. That's his template, which is why it works so we...

Super stoked on my new board! The crew at HSS were awesome, they took the time to help me out and walk me through the large variety of boards they have in the shop! I appreciated how they were informative but I didn’t feel pressured to buy. It was love at first sight when I saw the Seaside & Beyond in Thunderbolt. After having it for a few months, I’m stoked on how it rides, plenty of paddle power but turns and trims like it’s smaller brother (regular seaside). Couldn’t be happier with my board ...

Kristy
Hi, my name is Christy. Last week, I rented an 8'0" MOE surfboard from the shop, and it was such a fun board! Coming from riding a 9'0" longboard, the 8'0" MOE was noticeably easier to paddle into waves. But what really impressed me was how much speed it generated with the quad fin setup. Even at 8 feet, this thing can really get flying down the line.

Customer video review of Firewire S BOSS (5'4-6'4) 5 Fin Futures Ibolic White
Kamaki
For my normal fishy board, I usually ride around 25.5 liters of volume. However, I recently got the S Boss in the 5'5" size which comes in at 26.2 liters - a little more volume than my typical ride. As a wider outline fish shape designed for performance waves, the extra volume in the S Boss works really well. Overall, Im extremely impressed with how well the S Boss handles added volume while keeping its high-performance capabilities intact. It paddles effortlessly into bigger stuff but remains ...

I'm Brian. I have the 6'4" Mini Mid6. I took it out today at Ala Moana Beach Park in some smaller waves. The forecast said zero to one foot, but I just went out to practice. I'm coming off a 7'2" Moe that was 49 liters, so it was a bit of a transition. When I first hopped on the Mid6, coming down from the Moe, it was kind of challenging. I had some shoulder burn, but you just got to keep going. One day I caught like a head-high wave, and that just kind of turned everything around for me. I'm r...

Bryan
I'm really enjoying my new too fish 5'7 surfboard. I previously had the Seaside model but I like the too fish shape even more. It has more glide and pivot thanks to the twin fin setup which allows me to make sections that I couldn't on my other boards. The volume is a step up for me from my previous 32-34 liter boards but it actually paddles and catches waves even better.
