I bought these small hoops because the holes in my ears kept closing and I wanted something that would be unobtrusive, easy to sleep in at night, and could be worn every day. And I'm a sterling silver wearer, not gold. These fit the bill entirely. Side note: one earring in my first pair broke while I was removing from the packaging and trying to open; the Returns office sent a new pair immediately without even asking me to return the original ones. Really really pleased with the customer service...
