Temp control is perfect, starts at zero current draw (ideal for camping with inverters) and simmer does not involve any on/off cycling. I have used many induction cookers, and lets jus say the power range has been sadly lacking. TOKIT, has 99 power settings. What that means is I can warm, simmer, gently cook and sear. I love corned beef. With the two other induction cooktops I could not get the slow gentle simmer I wanted as the power range was in the 200 to 300 watt range. It's been a few weeks since purchase and as a temporary replacement for our old gas cooktop, it's been great. It gets used multiple times every day and, if it lasts long enough, we may not bother replacing it with a built in cooktop when we renovate the kitchen. We don't use the wifi feature but have found it easier to use than cooktops with fixed temperature settings especially considering the learning curve with the transition from gas to induction.

Excellent cooker.. power control is great, simmers pots perfectly and plenty of power when needed. Only niggle is it starts at zero power, my other cheap unit starts at 75%, common sense would suggest when you turn on a cooker you want heat so why auto start at zero, you have to rotate the power control knob a couple of turns to get to full power, I wonder how long before the rotating knob wears out. Time will tell. Overall it's great, highly recommend.

What a great machine! While I'm currently unable to link the app from Australia (support are onto it), I really don't think this detracts. It does everything it promises and more.
