Great savings over local dentist (over $1,500 saved). Had couple hotspots from Clear Guard partial. Local dentist refused to help. Used my own Dremel tool to remove small parts of plastic causing pain on existing gum skin tags from old metal partial. Saved thousands $$ in dental and surgeon expenses as hot spots removed and old gum skin tags healed using new Clearguard partial. Although the buttons that hold the connectors are no longer glued to the retainer, this is actually a cleaner and more elegant design. Without too much difficulty, changing the connectors is doable. I have had this mouth guard for about two months now and I’m just starting to get used to it. I had one of the longer bands on it to start with but still snored with it so I went to 23mm bands I think which is almost the shortest. I couldn’t keep it in my mouth for more than 2-4hrs as my jaw would really start to hurt but have persevered and can now wear it for a full night with no discomfort. It’s awesome! I am so thankful that I found The Clear Guard site . I spent the past 3 years trying mouthpieces trying to duplicate the one I had prior to my search. This denture is 100x better than the one that I got from my dentist. My dentist was even rude when I pointed out to him that the denture is nowhere near a proper fit. It doesn’t even sit on my gums.
