The garlic bulbs look awesome: huge and healthy and ready to plant this weekend Oct 14/15. I can't wait to tuck them in with their handful of worm castings and special superfood - last year I did the same and was rewarded with a great yield. As always, many thanks Jord!

I use worm castings in every hole when I transplant and I mix it with compost in one of the burlap bags to make compost tea. I treat every couple of weeks and I can see plants take off.

I used the seedling mix with my K-5 students, comparing it with regular garden soil. I can’t show pictures due to confidentiality, however, the seeds with Mind & Soil’s mix were substantially more successful in their growth than seeds grown using a generic brand of seedling mix. Highly recommend!

The two on the left were sown in store-bought organic seedling mix, while the two on the right were sown in Mind & Soil seedling mix. We planted your garlic last Oct 15 and harvested mid July. It was amazing. We want to plant again around Oct. 15 but with the Postal Strike we're wondering how it will be delivered to our address. An excellent starting medium. I've had really good germination and early growth with this starting mix, and I'll be using it exclusively from now on. The only caveat? I'd prefer it to be sieved a bit finer. I had to break up a few clumps that shouldn't have gotten through.

A handful of worm castings in everything that I plant has amazing results. My tomatoes develop two sets of roots: near the surface and then another set about 8 inches down. I have never seen that before using worm castings.

I was so excited to get my garlic kit and I joined the Garlic Growing Happy Hour...followed the directions and my garlic bed looks great in my new veggie garden raised bed! Each plant (9) grew very strong indoors and then once they were ready to go outdoors I used the transplant kit when moving the plants to bigger pots. After more than 15 years of gardening in Burnaby, BC, this year I had the greatest success ever by starting seeds in Jordan's worm casting seedling mix. Broccoli, kale, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, kabocha, butternut squash, leeks, celeriac, eggplant, lettuce – all had higher germination rates and more vigorous growth than I've ever seen in the past.
