This beautiful felt provided a stabilizing lining for a series of mixed media hooked rugs that emerged from my artist’s residency in Newfoundland and is now en route to exhibition. The felt protected the back of each piece so that short lengths of mixed fibres would stay within the burlap web without using glue or invisible stitching.

Colours are bright, vivid and SO soft! It's a bit thin but still works quite well for making felt foods. If you want a stiffer felt the wool blend is what you want, or add some interfacing. Creases iron out nicely and cuts like butter. I love working with this felt and the price is nice too. I only wish there were even more colours to choose from! I would love more pastel and natural tones, sometimes I have to buy from the wool blend collection to get the colour I want.

I am truly impressed with these. Similar style to Sorels with a significant warmth and quality increase at a fraction of the price. I would recommend these to everyone! I wear women’s size 6 1/2 and these fit perfectly. My only qualm was the faux-fur trimming which I easily removed with a seam ripper but this is really a matter of personal taste and wasn’t an inconvenience at all. Thank you for providing these awesome affordable and Canadian boots :)

I use this on all my watering trays and its thicker than what came with the watering trays and washable. Myself I think the felt holds water better than the original felt. When I need more I know where to go.

We had been trying to find wool felt maple syrup filters similar to some very old ones we had and used. The new style Orlon filters that you can purchase these days just weren't as good. We purchased the 8 Quart wool maple syrup cones from the Thefeltstore and had much better results than we get with the orlon.

The felt looks and feels great on my DIY gaming table topper. The felt was a bit creased from shipping, but dry ironing with a very light misting from a spray bottle dealt with that. BTW, I scotch guarded it, the picture is after that step.

Wish I’d had the felt pad at the start of this large paper piecing project. Hope you can see the before and after difference in the 2 photos, the green fabric is so nice and sharp where the purple is not. It has made such a difference to working the very small pieces, may have to rework some of the earlier pieces.

Put these in my 30 year old sorels, original felts were beat up, dirty and not very warm anymore. New felts from the felt store are very warm and comfortable. They were 2" shorter than my boot and I knew that when I bought them, but doesn't really affect anything. I would buy these again....except I won't wait 30 years.

These felts have transformed my boots and extended their usage inter the winter months. The 8mm are fantastic, and add a layer of cushioning and comfort, along with cold insulation. The 13mm are incredibly thick and change the boot ergonomics quite a bit but have been perfect at the bottom of my Sorels. Fantastic products that everyone should own and every boot should come with.
