I first started using Pernod around 60 years ago on the advice of my dermatologist to help me with my problem skin. I was a faithful user (especially of the lemon version) until it went out of production. I was skeptical when my sister said there was a “new” Pernox until I tried the sample jar she had received with her order. The new green version is perfect for the “skin I’m in” now and I will be a repeat customer. Thank you for bringing Pernox back!

I have regular facials, but in between them it’s wonderful to have a gentle exfoliant to keep my skin fresh & clear. The minty fragrance is soft and the beads are just the right texture to get a nice buffing. I highly recommend this product as an addition to your regular routine whatever that may be.

If you have oily skin pair the product with a routine of filling a sink with water, as hot as you can stand. Apply sloppy wet dedicated washcloth compresses to one's entire facial area for 5 min.. Apply enough Pernox, which should not take much working it into a lather for 3 min.. Remove with same process utilizing washcloth wiping away slightly. Blot dry with dedicated hand towel. The new pernox works well. Used the old kind for a long time until it was discontinued. Was very sad when it was no longer available. Was happy to see that a new pernox was now available. Would love it if it came in tubes but the small containers work well too. Skin smooth again.

Pernox REALLY cleans my skin. It has helped in reducing the number of breakouts and blackheads. There is no additional dirt on the cotton when using a toner after cleansing, which to me means the Pernox is cleaning deeply and thoroughly.

I appreciate the esthetics of the "perceived value" added by having it in a glass jar, but I would still like to have the tube for ease of use. I hope the future is bright for the new revitalization of Pernox! I used the Lemon smell version since 1979 until its demise. If you wish to bring back the lemon........that would be great! Otherwise, the comeback is GREAT! I've been looking forward to it!

I started using original pernox when I about 15 with oily skin and zits. I was hooked , It cleared up my skin and that clean feeling after one uses it is addictive. Your version isn't quite the same but it is the closest I have come. Thanks for bringing it back.

Since the original was extinguished the reinvention is probably 95% it's original. Nothing I've found compares. And Dermatology today has failed to develop an equal or more effective replacement. Most acne washes seem to have a creamy or oily/greasy base, which is counter-intuitive. Maintaining your face is paramount. Pernox for oily skin leaves one's face noticeably "clean" without residue.

It was like reuniting with an old friend. I used original Pernox for 2 decades + and was truly devastated when it was discontinued. I was one of the hold outs buying it for way more then it was worth on Amazon. Finally giving up a few years ago. Struggled to find anything that came close. Nothing did. So I gave up. It was a sad day when Pernox went off the market years ago since I had been using it daily for years. As a former user of the old school “lemon” Pernox years ago, I was excited to try the new Tea Tree version. It hasn’t disappointed. I have found it to be a gentle exfoliant, leaving me with clean soft skin without drying it out. It’s a little more pricey than I typically use, but a little goes a long way. I use it every other day on my face neck. About the amount of two pea sizes. I plan to continue to use it going forward. Definitely worth a try : )

I've used Pernox (when I could find it) for 50+ years. Glad to find it's available again. Even at 72 my face needs a light weekly scrub, and I've been unable to find one that does a very good job. I just happened to Google it last week and found it's available again!

I used Pernox from the late 1960s until it was discontinued by the manufacturer around 2014. I felt a near panic when my pharmacy had none left on their shelves. Through the years, I’ve tried to find a substitute but never found anything comparable. I’m so thankful another fan of Pernox has brought it to the market once again. It’s a bit pricey, but I’m not complaining as long as it doesn’t disappear again. If you haven’t tried it, you really should. It’s amazing!!
