This is my first purchase from Toadfish. In the past, I've always used 1 of the red plastic shrimp tools found in your local grocery store. I can say that I hated them. I hated them so much that I usually avoided buying Shrimp that I had to clean. After using this product from Toadfish, I am POSITIVE that I'll be eating more Shrimp. Purchased this knife as a gift for my outdoor loving nephew. It has a very smooth opening action and quite the solid heft. I purchased it for the higher quality steel that is hard to find in cheaper over the counter knives, and because I felt like it would stand up to the test of time.
