Most of my life I wore leather soled shoes, which had flat bases and I was very comfortable with them. Nearly all shoes nowadays have bases with a shaped arch that does not sit me. After wearing them for a while my feet ache terribly. When I'm at home I can't wait to take off my shoes and walk around with just socks on like being barefoot (Kaal Voet). Our Kaalfoot shoes were delivered to the hotel we booked into in Plettenbergbay. With great expectations we opened the parcel and were suitable impressed with the built quality. The shoes were used on the beach, on hikes and around the pool. Being lightweight, comfortable and easy to clean afterwards they certainly proved their value to us. Great purchase!

I ordered the shoes for my 4 year old son who is always in and out of the house and these seemed perfect for that, I immediately put them on when I opened the parcel, he hasn't been without them since. His feet has a high bridge, especially his left foot, so shoes is a issue. These fit comfortably and is so versatile, I will definitely have to get him more.

I took my Kaalfööt sunflower shoes with on the Otter trial and could not wait after a long day of hiking, to remove my hiking boots and slip my Kaalfööt on. I crossed the rivers with them and had no problem getting them dry for the next day hike. So comfortable and a real spoil for tired feet.
