The greyscale photo compares a regular 8mm septum (top) with the HJ 10mm septum (bottom). I bought this one because I originally bought it in 8mm (colour photo, top) but it was way too tight due to the moth being really big.
Basically, the 8mm moth fits like a 6mm, and the 10mm fits like an 8mm.
I already own other 8mm septum rings from HJ and they fit fine because the design is either much smaller, or a dangling type (like the spiky heart one).

The piece itself is very clean, I don't typically like flashy jewelry pieces but this one served as a nice replacement to another tarnished cross I had. Style is perfectly balanced and it is not too big nor too heavy on the eyes, wish I could've gotten more use out of it though as I ended up gifting it to my medium distance girlfriend so she could wear something of mine.
