This is our first experience of Lee Valley, but on first acquaintance, and it is early days, these are what pyjamas ought to be. All the shirts that I have bought from Lee Valley have always been L and have been perfect fits. This one was slightly different. I found the cut a little too generous for an L and the sleeves consequently slightly longer than expected. The material is superb and a tuck-in here and there makes it an extremely comfortable fit. A nice quality shirt which is a near-perfect XL. Far too many retailers have their own version of XL, but this shirt was spot on for my 46" chest and also reasonably long, with near-perfect sleeve length. Nicely made too, although it'd be nice to see specific information on place of manufacture. The only improvement to make it a perfect shirt would be to have two breast pockets.

I was a little worried about purchasing in XL but the fit was near-perfect. So these shirts are a "real" XL unlike some which end up tight across the chest and short in the sleeves. The colour/pattern on this shirt is especially appealing and it's now one of my favourite shirts. The quality of construction is very good. The label "Product of Lee Valley Ireland" does not tell me that the shirt is made in Ireland however. I do like that information to be specific.

I had bought the same shirt in a different colour on holiday in Ireland. I loved it so much that I decided to order another one in a different colour. The quality is great. It runs a bit large but that is to be expected considering unisex sizing. I bought it in XS and it works well for me as a kind of coat, as I had intended. Most likely, I will buy another one in the future.

The fit is perfect. I thought the sleeves would be too short because the grandfather shirt I ordered, which is similar, has long sleeves which are a good 2 inches too short, but not the case with the night shirt. The sleeves and the length in general are perfect.

It's a perfect fit because I order XL. A Large would have been a tad tight for me. I use these shirts to sleep in because I need a button pocket for my insulin pump. I have been buying them for 30 years. When we got to Ireland, I buy them there too. Very good quality!

I decided to go directly to an Irish source and was happy to find Lee Valley and all its varieties. Size large ended up being too big, but through customer service, we were able to exchange the shirt for a medium size promptly.
