I find the elastic band a tad lose for the size of my skull. Of course I could have purchased a woman’s version but somehow there is a reluctance (male pride?) in doing so for us men. Maybe instead of having men’s and ladies’ versions, you could have sizes: S/M/L, and provide the circumference for each one

The Men’s fleece lined tartan shirt is made from lovely soft fabric and fleece. Very good quality! My only quibble is the men’s sizes are possibly geared towards the North American market, as I believe they are bigger than your average Irish Large/Medium/Small. I ordered a Large for my partner and had to exchange it for a medium, and even still it’s rather too big for him. Excellent customer service.

This flannel material used for a shirt was as new to me as it is pleasant to the touch and gentle on the skin. The absence of a collar and the four or five buttons make it a smart and original shirt that I have not seen yet on any Frenchmen in my area (Irishman in French exile). Not really a review, this is my 5th shirt from you. I bought the first 2 on a visit to Ireland in a previous life about 20 years ago and still wear them regularly although they are getting a bit tatty now. An ex-girlfriend used to walk around in them and they looked better on her than they do on me! Sleeves could be a bit longer and a couple of spare buttons would be useful (after getting them back off Sandrine!). Love them!

Great shirts I bought my first two while on a trip to Ireland. I have ordered a second and third one since then. One of my first ones shrunk when I washed it in too hot of water. Should be a warning on the shirt not to wash and dry. Also I would enjoy a long sleeve length on the one shirt or at least an option for that.

This was a birthday gift for my brother who just turned 70. Unfortunately my brother needs to use a cane to get around so I thought this would be something different. We we are 1/3 Irish so it would be unique coming from Ireland. It only took a matter of days to get from Ireland to New York City unfortunately they were looting and burning NY City at the time so that took about three weeks for the post office to clear it and send it to me. That falls totally under the United States not on Ireland...

Recently received my flannel shirt in the post and was delighted with its quality, fit and style. Of course couldn’t wait to wear it so after washing it I tried it on and the fit was perfect! It is long in the tail just as the photo shows so it can be tucked in and never fall out or worn untucked it’s up to you. Quality product at a great price and speedy delivery, what more can I say?

I absolutely love my new bathrobe. I could not be happier. Not so not is it cozy and yummy I bought it to throw on for the many nightly check-ins I do for my dad after his stroke and I bought it during the Covid-19 outbreak. The staff at Lee Valley communicates lovingly and quickly that things may take a bit longer than usual- which I completely understood. This robe is pure perfection!

It is very nice. It fits me fine I like them roomy. The soft linen is pretty average but on second thought really very nice as mail order goods usually turn out to be paper thin materials seemingly made to cut down on weight for the post and this isn’t that. Pretty good. I will get another when I can afford it. I am a girl and there is a mans opening in the trousers but I am not bothered by it, just to let others know.

These wollen insoles are very handy for winter. I get chilblains and they keep my feet nice and warm, without making them sweat. They are also quite slim so they don't take up too much space inside the shoe. I would advise getting the larger ones as you can cut them then to fit your size. Perfect!

Much as I appreciate that the quality of the garment justifies the price, I was disappointed to find that Australia is not a part of the whole world and that I had to pay quite a lot for postage. For heaven's sake, Ireland more or less colonised Australia albiet perhaps a little unwillingly. You should realise that we are actually a part of the world! The cost of postage has made me unwilling to order a second nightshirt!
