These hairpins are sturdy, not heavy duty, not flimsy. I didn't grab a measuring tape and check the length before I ordered them and they were longer than I expected which actually turned out great. It has stretch to it, which is what I love super comfortable. I normally wear a large, but I bought extra large in this dress and it fits perfect. My bust is 42 inches waist 39.

Typically I wear an 8/10 and I sized up to XL. Glad I did! This is a little see thru but I think decent undergarments would help hide in the white color. Made of a linen like blend. It may not be as temperamental as linen so could be worn all day looking nice. I like the white but would try to go back and purchase other colors. This will be fantastic for summer!!
