The hat is great. Unfortunately I should have bought medium as my head is exactly 57cm and though it fits it is tight after a while. I bought a grey one for my son and it is medium. When I tried that on I knew that was my size. He loves his hat as well.

Great quality as are all the products that I have bought from Hanna Hats. This navy plaid scarf is a little longer than my other Hanna tweed scarves and hence is a little more snug and effective in the cold winds and rain, during my daily walk on an Inishowen beach.

The run small comment means the size you order I think is ‘snug’. its not exact and it’s not too tight or too small, perhaps at the smaller end of the last. It’s not an issue as In too tight. I mentioned this when I bought a Eske and they made it to 59cm which is just the best fit ever. I measured my head at 57.5/58 cm. Great hat! For a long time I could not find a hat in my size. Lovely store, shipping from Ireland to Russia was fast. Unfortunately, the hat is slightly different from the pattern - in the picture the ropes are brown, I received with black ones. With black, the hat looks very sad.

I got this hat because, as a Sherlock fan, I wanted a better hat than the cheap, poorly made, ill-fitting hat that I currently had. Knowing the quality of Hanna hats, the choice was elementary. And I was not disappointed. This is well designed and well made (no surprise). While I got this primarily for a Halloween costume, I have no doubt I will wear it on other occasions. It's just too cool not to!

I love this cap! I had gotten one like it years ago at a Celtic festival in Virginia, USA. It had fallen out of my pocket and has gotten left out on the ground in the rain.
