Having never worn linen before, I was surprised by the initial stiffness and slight "roughness" of the material; however, after just a couple of days of wear, the material now feels so soft! This is a high quality hat. In spite of the minimalist design, it protects your ears from sun and rain. It is very comfortable. The hat fits more loosely than other Hanna Hats of the same size. It sits lightly on the entire head and doesn't blow off in wind.

Simply love my Eske Travel hat. It looks closer to the walking hat than what I realized which is great! I wear it everytime I leave my house. I get constant compliments, a couple of times I was compared to Sean Connery. Which I love. It was definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend it. Trying to decide what color to get next!! I love this hat. My only issue is that attached to the crown side of the snap, between the crown and the liner, is a very large (4.5”X1”) piece of plastic? That’s enough plastic to warrant being included in the materials list. I’ve had to unsnap it and curl the plastic down so it stays close to the brim. I bought this cap for the beautiful linen and craftsmanship, and plastic is an unexpected, unnatural addition. I usually wear an XL, but this hat is an L and wasn’t quite snug enough. The head...

I contacted Tom and requested a special color patchwork cap for John, a friend of mine who always admired my Hanna caps. The requested brown patches, workmanship and fit were perfect.
