This quilt turned out beautifully! It really shows the love my husband had for Corvettes. I also included some other shirts from work and other places we had visited. There are a lot of memories in each of these shirts and having them all together in this blanket is amazing. Love it ❤️

I decided to use project Repat to create a memorial quilt out of my deceased husband’s T-shirts. My husband was a tour Bus Driver and drove across the country and into Canada driving bands. 80% of the shirts sent were from the bands, and could not replaceable! I put it in the mail on April 2, 2025. It got lost in the mail and ended up in Puerto Rico! I was devastated and thought I could never get this back. We love the quilt. They let me upgrade to 14” squares because the shirts were so large. The only problem I can see is that when you get the email that the tshirts have arrived, it’s like the information goes dark and you have no idea what is going on with the tshirts. Most of the time these tshirts are treasures and not knowing what is going or where in the process they are is very worrisome.

My father took excellent care of his clothes. Over the years he had many shirts that he wore over and over. When he passed away in 4/2025 I had a very difficult time departing with them. We have 100's of photos of him wearing these shirts. I had 2 throws made for each of my sisters including a photo of him in one of the shirts. They were so overwhelmed! My dad will be wrapped around them through these throws as if hes wrapping his own arms around them. PLUS the quality is excellent!
