I wish I hadn't donated so many of my late husband's shirts before finding out about Project Repat. I was nervous cutting the shirts, and anxious sending them away. But the process was a lot quicker than I anticipated, and the weight and quality of the quilt exceeded my expectations. This is a good way to memorialize a loved one or celebrate life's special moments.

Our mother passed away on New Year’s Day. I took her beloved Washington Redskin fan shirts now known as the Washington Commanders, and turned her shirts into a commemorative twin quilt for my brother as a surprise. I also added an inscription, which was a saying that our mother always said when she returned home. The quilt turned out, absolutely beautiful, but nothing could be as perfect as the genuine love that radiated through my brother‘s face when he opened his RePat package. PRICELESS ❤️

I’ve always been wanting to find something to make with his MDA camp shirts from throughout the years. I stumbled upon this website called Project Repat where they will take your shirts and make a quilt out of them for you. Now that I got my hubby’s superhero blanket from Project Repat, i would surely recommend this to everyone who cant throw away their old shirts because of sentimental reasons. The blanket turned out great! And it was finished just in time to give to my daughter before she left for college. I was a bit apprehensive sending off tshrts that had sentimental value to be put on a quilt but I looked at other reviews and photos and crossed my fingers. Lemme tell you, this quilt blew me away. This is my 4th quilt...one for each of my sons as they completed Little League. its still my oldests favorite blanket, 8 years after he first received it. It has no signs of loose stitching or fraying. And the fleece on the back just gets cozier with time. Customer service is amazing. The quilt is beautiful! We provided 36 T-shirt sides for a Large Throw - we left the design up to the professionals on staff at Project Repat - and it came back to us better than we could have ever imagined! The quilt represents a 31-year Navy career with 5 deployments - we added his Call Sign and years served on the back.
