I have type 4 hair I’d say between 4b/c more so just a combination but my issue is moisturizing my thick hair it can become really dry during the winter. the dry conditioner is amazing makes my hair feel so soft and moisturizing. The castor oil is a plus as well I use throughout my protective styles.

Finally found the right amount of moisture and hold for my type 4 hair. Other products have left my hair dry or were so light that they did not penetrate. Finally I can do a twist out that lasts 3+ days. I wish I'd found these products earlier in my natural hair journey. I will never use anything else!

Okay so this is an updated review from my last one: I've noticed that it's a product that would have to be used everyday almost to keep the same hair softness and moisture kind of similar to the hair custard or the leave-in conditioner but again it's only because my hair gets like wool (4c type of struggle) and it needs it's extra love and attention 🤣🤣 So please be careful when using long amounts at a time.

The growth in just two weeks is unbelievable. I took out my braids early (forgot to take a picture beforehand, oops) because the growth was overwhelming them, and I ain’t mad about it. Absolutely LOVED this product! I haven’t done a wash n go in a while because I’ve had disastrous results in the past. Not only did the Flaxseed Gel separate my curls, the definition was beyond believable. One rake into my hair, I said, “Oh, I know they lyin’!” The product also gave week-long hold without having to reapply at all. To refresh my curls I missed my hair with water and a moisturizer every morning. At night I put my coils in large twists and sealed with an oil.

Once I got enough moisture going through my strands (low porosity woes) I got a significant lather from the shampoo and the product smells amazing!! It was a spa like experience. The deep conditioner provided so much slip and made my hair easy to detangle. My curls also clumped together nicely. I will definitely be adding more of the products to my hair regimen.
