As a beginner, I previously purchased a Furyu shinobue from this company. I was so pleased with it, I decided to purchase an upgrade from them as well. Received my new shinobue and it looks awesome with very nice rattan binding. I've been playing it for a few days now and it is very easy to play a full two octaves plus. The shinobue is my first one, so I can't compare it to anything, but it feels very well built and I love the sound I'm able to get out of it, even after only a few short practice sessions. The Shinobue is awesome, great quality and it came 1 day before the delivery date, it was hard at the start but i´m getting the hang of it. One thing to consider tho, when it reached my country i was required to pay for importation taxes to the delivery company which i thought was included in the price. I´m satisfied

Delivery was fast and well tracked. Package damaged on outside during delivery but flute fine due to copious bubble wrap. Shakuhachi met all expectations. However it is not easy to play. I play a Yamaha concert flute but it is quite different. Daily practice and patience required to produce a reasonable tone.

Really good quality, Although I’m a 42( size 8)I should have ordered two times my size( I’m in Australia),without the inserts they are snug , with the inserts I struggled to even get them on. So adjust for difference’s .

Good-looking flute bag at a reasonable price, you kinda can't go wrong with these. If there's any universal truth about traditional flutes from all around the world, it's that you can never have too many bags/cases/stands for different modes of travel and storage as long as they're not low-quality. Taikoshop doesn't do low-quality, so do your flutes a favor and get them some bags. They'll appreciate it.

I bought a furyu 3 hon choshi and a tamaki 8 hon choshi. New player all the way from Belgium. Shipment to Belgium was really fast! Quality of packaging was great! I can and will recommend Taiko Center Online Shop! Both came with a bag. I really fell in love with the furyu. Once you get used to the real bamboo sound, it is hard to go back. I think the tamaki is really nice to start, but i will probably order another bamboo 8 hon choshi soon. At the time of writing, still learning to play kan on!...

Amazing instrument and set! The book included, even it its only in japanese, has drawings to explain steps in a simpler manner, so its reccomended for beginners!
