I was thinking it was closer to 10 or 12 inch long saw but for the little jobs that I’m doing it is working just fine. Being small like it is I almost took a finger off by not paying attention but now I pay attention.

Had a hell of a time putting it together. Screw for adjusting tension fell out when I opened box and I had hell of a time putting it back right. Why don't u box it all together and make it simple? Finnally figured it out.. No help from instructions. U left that part! out!

Great tool and works well. However I spent a lot more for this vs competitive products based on the “one trigger” or “one button” control. Turns out it has the cursed safety button like all the rest. 2 buttons. This is not shown in the adds or the owners manual. So I can’t use it left handed. Luckily I can work the safety button with my limited motion right thumb. So this is deceptive advertising. I wonder if lawyers got ahold of Supertool ?
Anyways otherwise it works well.

Haven't had the opportunity to use my Superguage XL as yet, however bought it to have when remodel takes place in the near future. That is why a four star rating. My biggest concern isn't the tool itself but the cost when compared to a similar product I saw after it finally arrived, sold at Menards for half the price. My next concern was shipping.
