This is a beautiful well made rod. I paired it with a 320 spey line and it is a match made in heaven. A smooth stroke with a quick wrist flip and I was throwing darts at 45 to 50 feet in a light wind. The energy in this rod is amazing. My only regret is I ran out of yard to practice in.

These are wonderfully engineered and great looking boots! SO disappointed they didn’t fit just right, but I have a notoriously difficult foot to get the right fit. So I don’t think it’s the boot construction would’ve loved to have kept these, but had to return. The return process was seamless and guilt free 😊

I bought this rod to fish rivers in the 4 Corners Area; i.e., Gunnison, Rio Grande, and San Juan. IMHO, SA Amplitude Infinity is the perfect fit. I tried it on the San Juan a couple days ago and of course nothing was happening on top but that didn’t stop me from playing with some #18 dries. These boots are a great value though they weigh about 1lb each when dry. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and the fit of size 12 with a heavy sock is spot on. I installed my own studs (#10 3/4” sheet metal screws), now I’m as sure footed as a mountain goat.

The Garmin Mini is perfect for me. It has the satellite communication, but not the Garmin maps (which I don't find useful, I prefer All Trails or Gaia GPS). Very nice boots. I’ve destroyed many a boot over the years & decided to field test several top brands of mountain hunting boots when my smoke jumpers gave out. Daily work in woods & wetlands with a 45# backpack sprayer. Constantly shifting load. Crispi Guide & Wild Rock actually fit right away for narrower heels with wider but low volume forefoot. Checked out and used a few vests, this is the first vest that has everything I need in an upland vest. I hesitated at the price at first, but it was well worth it. What I enjoyed the most was that even with weight of all the water, shells and everything else, it didn’t feel heavy during the hunt.
