These things are simple but not having them results in loose straps which is a pain. I honestly don't know why Mystery Ranch doesn't include them for all straps on their bags given the price points, but they are cheap and readily available. Fin & Fire has shipped these to me twice this year and shipping has been crazy fast both times.

I have used the 8wt version of this line for a couple seasons now and really enjoy it. I exclusively use it to chuck indicators and lots or split shot and it works great for it. I ordered the 7wt line for my new rod and when I received it I noticed one of the loops had a defect in the weld from the factory. Without question F&F sent me a new line within days. Haven’t gotten these waders wet yet, but they look and feel perfect. Upgraded from 2 older pairs of Simms waders that no longer fit, but still functioned perfectly. These new G3’s are more flexible than my last pair and fit perfectly. I’m looking forward to many more years of trouble-free wading with them - Simms have always lived up to their reputation in my experience.

I haven’t been able to use it in the field yet but it’s a great jacket! I run pretty cold so hunting in Louisiana and Mississippi in the 40s and below should be perfect. I was a little skeptical at first because everyone said they only use it in sub 30 degree temps. However if you you run cold and just want 1 jacket that keeps you warm. This is the one. It’s not too heavy that you’ll sweat. I do plan on packing it in and putting it in when I get to the stand. Do whatever works for you!

I purchased the G3's as an upgrade to my current Headwater Pros and the fit/finish of the G3's is incredible. The extra reinforcement in the seat, welded belt loops, and lined hand pockets just put these a big step ahead of any of Simms lower tier models. The G3's have become my favorite piece of gear and well worth the cost to stay dry and comfortable on the river. This is Simms at their best.

Just the jacket I needed for steelhead alley in NY. I fish through the winter as long as I can before the rivers tighten up and this coat keeps me warm without all the added layers. All that was needed was a base layer and your favorite long sleeve shirt for temps ranging 25° to 29° with slight breeze. Haven't been out in extreme cold yet but I'm sure it'll be great. Pockets are deep and hand warmer side pockets are awesome and up high so the end of your spey rod doesn't catch in your pockets!!!

This hoodie is amazing. I am 6'4" and around 220 lbs and the x-large tall size is perfect. This hoodie is very light and not bulky at all which is nice for shooting a compound bow.
