I took another bite from the 'Final Sale' apple, and picked up these rimless suns from Off-White. I don't usually consider rimless frames, as I just assume they would be fragile; but the price was right so I figured I'd go for it. I didn't realize how little I've cared about my past glasses until I got these from Good See Co. I've had them less than 2 weeks, and I've had >20 people stop me in public saying how much they loved them. That is not an exaggeration. I don't care much about that but I bet some people do. I brought them because they are the civilian version of the U.S. Navy submariner eyeglasses and I and many of my shipmates thought that they were the coolest looking eyeglasses ever. These frames have a desaturated bluish grey color than green. The lens are brown but have a more congac (golden) tint than other brown lenses I own, which are more reddish. For these reasons, I really love these because they are very unique but also very wearable. I was concerned they would be too loud for me but that was not the case. These McLaren glasses are Plus Ultra! First the navy blue 3d printed graphite is next generation tech for glasses. It gives a great textured bold look and is comfortable and light. The orange temples are really fun. Made of old formula 1 tires they are comfortable and grippy. The way they open at the hinge like suicide doors of a McLaren are so cool.
