Bought this bike new from framed website. Due to the bike shortage because of the pandemic, decided order this since it has a carbon frame. Had a few issues when I got it out of the box. Support was able to replaced the fork and the thru axle, and I just fixed the other problems which I classified as minor, but irritating having to pay for a NEW bike with issues. I bought the Wolftrax to replace my Cake Eaters (to save them from wear) as a summer/gravel/trail tire on my '21 RM Blizzard. The ONLY downsides is that the sideknobs are lacking (snap lowsides on snow), and can't be setup tubeless (AFAIK). BUT, for a wearable, temporary tire, and the price, they absolutely shred!! For the price, Can't be beat. The rims are great quality but the tires are cheap no-name brand tires. The tires are fine if you haven't have mountain bike tires before but my tires wore out quickly. The nice thing about these rims is that the can house up to 3" tires so having these no-name brand tires gave me time to research the tires I wanted for this wheel set. Very happy with the Minnesota LTD after my first few rides. It seems like a great bike and handled the snow and ice in Michigan well. I picked up tire studs and they were relatively easy to add. The studdable tires were a great bonus. They made studded tires a $50 upgrade instead of a $300 expense on top of the purchase price. The components are amazing for a bike in this price range. I have now had this Frame Minnesota Fat bike for over a month. The bike has been fantastic to this point. Shipped quickly to my home. I've had my eye on a framed fat bike for a few years now. Always contemplated between the basic Minnesota or something more fancy - but being my first fat bike I knew I'd be happy with something simple. When I saw the LTD come along it was perfect. It upgrades all the right things from the regular Minnesota and is still an excellent price. The tubeless compatible rims and tires, and 27.5 wheels were a big selling point for me. I am so Impressed!! I just took my Minnesota 2.0 (2019?) on the C2C 100 mile loop ride through Manistee National Forest. This Race throws everything at you, single track, two track, mud, gravel roads, and sand, LOTS of sand! This bike took it all in stride. I researched fat bikes online and in stores for months. These components on a famous label bike are at least $500-$700 more. I love the Deore 1x10 and the disc brakes are great. Our family of 3 already has 3 of the Framed Minnesota's with the 2021-2 livery. We leave them at the cabin for snow riding in winter and sandy trail riding in summer, but that means we were missing them back home.
