What is it? The Framed Basswood.
That doesn’t tell me anything, what is it? It is an all carbon gravel bike designed for long days and big miles. The geometry is a little more on the relaxed side of the gravel equation which lends itself to tracking well and holding a line even when the road gets gnarly. This is more a 3.5 than a full 4 star rating. The bike is fun but has had issues. The first of which was having to replace the Raceface chain set, completely, after three weeks and about seven rides. I contacted Framed and made a claim. At first they said it was't covered under warranty but then, finally relented. The seat bag is comparable to a Revelate designs bag, for much less $! The handlebar bag will only mount in two places on the handlebars on a drop-bar, and three straps were provided. Don’t know where the third goes, would help to have some directions. But even with two straps it works fine.

I bought mine right before COVID lockdowns, and so glad I got it when I did! I ride this bike all year and it's so much fun that I gave away my 26inch Gary Fisher hardtail. For a fatbike, it's quite nimble and love the way those big tires roll over every bit of terrain. It's certainly great when I encounter patches of thick sand. After more than a year, everything runs really smooth. Buying direct from the manufacturer is great as they pass on the savings to me. The set up was super easy.

Great Bike. The one weak spot is the brakes. BB7's are just ok. In my opinion, TRP spyre's would be a significant improvement at a similar pricepoint.
I have a few hundred miles of mixed gravel/mud/pavement and even a little bit of green level singletrack on this bike and it performs great. Smooth and quiet; frame seems bulletproof, if a little heavy.
Overall very satisfied with the purchase. A couple things I think could be improved.
1. as mentioned above, TRP Spyres intead of bb7's.
