I researched this purchase pretty extensive. I was attracted to the bike because it was manufactured in Minnesota and had a very good reputation. It was purchased as a Christmas present for my 11-year-old grandson who lives in Teton Village in Jackson Wyoming. My Son in Law has friends who are very active in cycling, and they were all impressed with the quality of the bike and components. He did get to ride it a little before they got 4 feet of snow and is very excited for spring

I love the frame, very comfortable, only problem I have is that the website does not have the right info on it. the hub spacing is 130 not 135. so the spacer I bought was not needed. the bottom bracket is not a pf30 as stated on line and by the customer service guys I called its a bb30 and I ended up having to buy the bb30 after the pf30 after the bb30 didn't fit. please correct the website.

I have not owned a bike in 30 years. This one is definitely the nicest bike I have ever owned or ridden. I really enjoyed receiving the bike. I came well packaged and was easy to put together. All the adjustments were simple. I got it put together and was riding within an hour. The ride is very good. I the positioning of the controls and the brakes are very good at stopping.

Things started off bad and my chain broke on my very first ride and I had to walk it back home. I replaced the chain and have not had a single problem on 10+ rides. The bike rides well and I’ve received a lot of compliments. The sound of the tire tread is music to my ears. I’m looking forward to the first snow ride. I’m happy with the purchase.

Only complaint is you need to have it assembled by a bicycle technician to keep the warranty. Otherwise, it has been a blast to ride. So far I have only ridden on trails during the fall. It has handled easy and intermediate trails very well. I am excited to see how it does in the winter.

One tiny paint on the seat tube from shipping. The headset had a tiny bit of play - needed a little tightening. Everything looks and feels amazing. I got one of the last available frames, Framed didn't have the half nelson grips but they upgraded my seatpost to a pub carbon one. The bike is light and responsive, has been doing great with the 3.8 minion tires.

This is a solid bike for the price. I don't do anything too crazy, just cruising, practicing manuals and small hops and I think it will hold up well. The rear tire was not true upon arrival. I just got a spoke wrench so I can see about straightening it. The bottom bracket has a little bit of play in it and sometimes the chain makes a pop sound as it struggles to seat properly on the sprocket. Purchased this for my 11-yr old daughter at 5' tall, and she loves it. Limited inventory of similar bikes in Denver, and most are selling for $350 and up. Bought this for around $200 on sale and it seems to be the best deal going. The brake handle is a bit uncomfortable to me, but my daughter doesn't seem to care. The seat is also not great, but these are small parts to switch out. Smooth ride. No unwanted noise or jiggly bits. Seems lighter than the weight posted.

This is my second Frame bike. My son has one and now I do. Only thing we do not like are the seat post are too short. We have been searching for long ones but since the seat is attached to this it makes it more expensive to buy two seat post and two seats. This really sucks. Also my Framed sticker came scratched from shipping inside the box. Parts rubbing together. Put longer seat post for taller riders.

I bought this bike so I can ride with my boys. I takes me back to when I was young and had 2 BMX bikes. My oldest has a nice BMX, so I can compare this to his. Honestly, this is a great entry-level BMX. I don't ride it too hard, but it seems to be well-made. I highly recommend it, and it can't be beat for the price.

I was skeptical, because some of these guards are like an ashtray on a motorcycle, but this one actually blocks a bunch of mess from coming up. Keeps my forward cockpit cleaner. I used tie-wraps to install it, instead of the "hook & loop" tape that was provided. It provides very limited clearance with 4.6" tires I had on, but just enough. It helps to "form" the fender first, like a ball cap bill, prior to installation.
