We pulled these frames from a Kickstarter Pitch & Music Video shoot we produced for Seattle Indie Songwriter Robert Deeble's new record. While we shot it at Oregon's own National Freedom Recording Studio, it was the TropicColour assets packs that made our film project really sing, utilizing everything from film grain, to film burns and frame borders...nothing but gratitude for the TC high standards for creatives.

Fast and Furious Thunderbolt 3 SSD!
Love this for my video editing and for quickly moving large files around via the thunderbolt ports on my M1 Studio Max or M1 MacBook Air.
It doesn’t get too hot, has a durable and unique housing - very cool! I haven’t even gotten close to maxing out or any throttling on this little, pocket-size-beast yet.

I recently used it for a client advert, it was very useful to show the client, the edit with the social media overlay on top so he could see the reasoning behind where I placed text etc. The client originally wanted everything centred but showing him how it would look on SM he quickly changed his mind. The fastest drive I have ever owned! I've always struggled to edit on the go off a laptop given that drives were often too slow or would throttle.
This drive is so fast and has greatly helped my workflow. The editing assets are fire too! I would take forever trying to create the perfect transitions or titles, but Tropic Colour's assets make my job so much easier.

Tho only annoyance (not about the hat) was the purchase confirmation email estimated the delivery date was between 8-10 days. The reality was actually 20 days. Again, not really a problem, just be ready to factor in another 10-12 days on top the estimated delivery date. Aside that, very happy with the quality of this hat.

I'm a concept artist, and I love your guys' LUTS. I use them a lot in my work, but some LUTS you guys have, like the current one I just bought, don't come with conversion LUTS. Since I mainly use them in Photoshop, I was wondering if you guys have any of these LUTs for conversion, since the current ones all look the same and are just super saturated, even when I lower the opacity.

Good technical luts. I’m pretty new to shooting film (small projects), and color grading is the hardest part for me. When I slap on the standard conversion lut, I only need a couple minor tweaks, and the shot is pretty much where I like it (at least for what I’m doing). It’s a big time saver, an improvement on standard color, and still looks realistic.

I've gotten a lot of grain elements from places and most of it is faked/digital looking.
I will add this for a want. There is an early 2000s "shot on film" grain look were the grain seems like it has gone through some kind of cleanup but it is very pronounced black dot looking. It's really apparent in the early Sex and the City episode and many tv series of that era...
