My dog was having trouble with acid reflux at night so I did some research and found that feeding meat at night was hard on his stomach and could be aggravating the reflux. After my dog developed ulcers from taking NSAIDS for severe arthritis, I started feeding him 3 meals a day to ward off the acid reflux. I decided to try Wild Earth for his night time meal and he seems to be tolerating it very well. I had no issues transitioning him and he seems to be feeling great.

I have a high energy Belgian Malinois that needs a higher energy and higher caloric food, but I want him to eat vegan. I tried the other major vegan brand and their food is fine, but has only 24% protein vs 31% protein in Wild Earth. Also, Wild Earth has 374 kcal/cup and the other brand has 346 kcal/cup. My working dog is doing great on this food and has plenty of energy to spare. If you have a hard working dog and want to Go Vegan, then Wild Earth is for you.

My lab mix loves this food and supplements. He has severe skin allergies to the point that I was giving him an allergy shot every week as prescribed by his allergy doctor. I stopped the shots after he stopped scratching and his coat is beautiful. I do mix this with ZD prescription can food for sensitive skin. His coat looks great and no more scratching🙏. I’m just not sure about a no meat food?
