Definitely easiest way opening a wine, only concern is that covering is made of plastic and might break easily if not handled the right way. So we will see about durability.

What a fun POP! Just one thing. I wasn't sure how to get the cork off the needle til I jiggled the plastic ring by mistake (nothing in the directions about how to remove the cork), and then I saw to slide the ring to push the cork off. Other than that, all went splendidly!

This is very useful particularly as one grows older. I know that I do not have the same hand strength to remove corks as I did 20 years ago. So, I value this more than I would have expected. If I was 20 years old I might not see its value. But no one stays young forever.

Very nice set, but the best part was the quick response when there was a problem. The foil cutter had one of the 4 cutters pop off the first time I used it. I asked how much to replace and they immediately sent me a free replacement.

The wheels (2)came off the foil cutter~ Directions should say turn CLOCKWISE to avoid my wife giving me "the look" after telling her how easy it was going to be for her. Counter-clockwise they unscrewed~ The little bolts are a round, flat head and are certainty not meant for the consumer (me) to put them back on . . . and she lost one~ After using a knife to finish getting the foil off, the pump worked perfectly for her, so the night was somewhat salvaged.
