I owned a pair of Larkins and my wife got me these for my bday. They are way more comfortable, the Vibram sole gives you that support you need when you’re on your feet for several hours. Gotta get these!

The quality of the shoes is great. They're comfortable and didn't take too much breaking in order to be soft. My only gripe is that it's a little difficult to lace up and put on -- you can't exactly just slip your foot into them. You have to almost unlace them fully to fit your foot in. Additionally, when wrapping the laces around the boot, sometimes the lace will slide up the bott and just wrap around your actual ankle.

I’ve owned a pair of Alder and Alder 2 and really like the new features on this upgrade. The back side of the boot snugly wraps around the ankle and the Vibram sole throughout the bottom really makes a difference in your support system.

I ordered a pair of grey factory seconds and was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality and feel of the boots. I was, however surprised with the color. They are definitely not grey, but maybe that is why they are factory seconds? Either way, I am keeping them because the color is still nice enough for my wardrobe and the quality to price ratio is unbeatable.

Leather is superior quality, soft and ready to wear. Returning for smaller sized. During this process I have reminded repeatedly they can refuse refund or return for ANY reason which seems excessive and not reputable. Either way this will be an adventure.

These are my second pair of Sutros and I love them. My previous pair fit like a glove but these are a bit roomy so I'm using an insole with them. Leather quality and craftsmanship is superior to all others at the price point. I love that they are a family owned business. They ship internationally (these were sent all the way to Melbourne, Australia). I can't wait for the summer styles!

Great looking boots! Nice touches on packaging as you would expect from a trending local company.
Positive: Little break in period, one of a kind styling, nice quality soles.
Disappointments: Super long laces (probably me but I didn’t get it, don’t want to have to wrap my laces around my ankles and then tie) leather seams a little thin. Probably helps with little break in period. I’m super hard on shoes so I’m worried about how long they will last.

I was initially sent the wrong boots (order the Charton and was sent the Charlton Vibram) and must say I was somewhat put off by that, but I understand things happen.
A rep by the name of Mike was very apologetic & helpful. He express mailed the correct pair and sent a belt and care kit as a way to make amends. This I must say went a long way for me.

This pair was a factory second with a barely discernable blemish on one of the boots. Actually the 2nd pair I received; the first pair had a functional defect. Just got these, and they are already my favorite shoes. As a short person, the I think the low-cut style is more flattering and proportional. I’m between a 8.5 and 9. Tried both and kept the 8.5, and they are already breaking in perfectly. Color is gorgeous and they are very comfortable and soft.

Half a size smaller seems to be appropriate even for wide feet. The laces are unique.
Only complaint is that your color Grey looks brown (but it is of very good quality nevertheless).

These boots are excellent. The gray leather looks/feels/smells exactly like you want it to. I ordered a full size down ( as recommended) and the fit is great. These boots are light, feel great, and I get no heel lift like I do with chelseas. They look fantastic.
