I have tried so many different brands of handmade paper and have been going back to silk and willow because their paper is absolutely beautiful and such amazing quality. I’ve been using this paper for every calligraphy and painting project and it’s my absolute favorite. I especially love the bigger size that I use for writing wedding vows. I just love this new dusty mauve !! I cut some 'Koko Loko' roses in my garden and cut dahlia 'Czarny Charakter' and added some sprigs of Winter Creeper, Euonymus, in the vase, and the dusty mauve ribbon paired perfectly, as I hoped it would!! The video doesn't capture the true colors, I wish you could see this in person!!! Thank you for creating such gorgeous ribbons!! I am a huge fan of Silk & Willow!!!

A little darker than I thought, but still gorgeous. I know that natural colors can vary from batch to batch, and that different monitors show colors differently depending on how they're calibrated. So, for those purchasing this ribbon for larger projects, be aware that the intensity and/or brightness of color may be slightly different when you see your ribbon in-person. Whether darker or lighter, it is still incredibly beautiful.

I absolutely adore this paper! I've tried doing calligraphy on other handmade papers in the past, but they all seemed to have too fibrous of a texture and would catch on my calligraphy nibs a lot. This paper by Silk & Willow preformed way better! The fibers are super smooths and tight. This made it much easier to do calligraphy on it and draw with ink and pointed pen nibs. Will definitely be buying more in the future!
