The Neo Ramen cyber punk book nook was an immersive build experience and it was enjoyable seeing how the project is coming to life from the concept and planning stage to an active tangible reality. The thick wood panels were great to work with and the vibrant visuals on the walls and the lights on the structure and the details on the vending machine, food and drinks , and the little white kitty cat added life to the diorama. We love how this turned out! The quality of all of the materials were really good. I liked how all the parts, even the little pieces weren't flimsy pieces that would be really easily broken. I like the tools that came with this kit! The tweezers provided were perfect! I like the electronic parts that were chosen; I appreciated that there was a terminal block strip (I think that's the right term lol!) that you could connect all of the wires of the lights and battery pack to rather than having to ...

This one was a nice change from the usual snap together types. I usually hate making plants, but this one only had 3 paper and wire type plants that I had to make(I only did 2) and the others used dried flowers, static grass, and glue which I found much easier and somehow more satisfying to put together. I love the musical Sweeney Todd, and the "Dreamy Alley" kit was perfect for customizing to the theme! I painted some of the buildings and made new signs and props. Although I didn't use most of the furniture and greenery, I'm sure I'll find uses for them in other miniatures. This was a really great kit to build. I felt like a couple steps could have gone in a different order to make things easier, and the pictures for where the wires go could've been a little clearer, but these are very nitpicky things, overall it's a great kit. This is a stellar kit that absolutely lends itself to customization. I themed mine to Nightmare Alley and took this kit to a whole new direction. I loved the thicker boards in the kit, the realistic perfectly scaled cats, the new-to-me lighting technique that worked flawlessly first try, the ability to arrange the insides of the kit to suit my preference rather than the manufacturer's and the copious amounts of supplies in the kit including a tube of B7000.
