Planted Incognito to screen a powerline from the main road. Followed the planting instructions and had an 8+ foot wall by September. Day time deer movement on the powerline increased exponentially with this screening. I’ll be using it to screen my food plots as well this next season.

Been using this mix to frost seed clover each year and it’s been a great blend I can rely on to get the job done feed the deer and give lots of tonnage for harsh craving drowt tolerant ph tolerant and easy to do no till methods with def recommend this blend for anyone trying to do a nice plot with minimal equipment.. you just don’t need a tractor with a tiller attachment with all the bells and whistles to have a nice plot

Planted on 6/5/25. This is my second year using incognito. It is Egyptian wheat and this is a great price. You can see it used in this picture as I screen and break up my plots as well as access to stand locations. It will grow about 7-8' tall. This has no fertilizer on it but we have had good rain. This seed is amazing we’ve been doing food plots for over 20 years and last year we tried domain seed and we wasn’t disappointed. We mixed big sexy and smack down and ended up with turnips bigger than softballs. These plots are planted on an abandoned strip mine in east Kentucky with shitty soil I couldn’t imagine what this stuff would do in rich fertile soil!! Everything‘s coming up nicely and this is 2 1/2 weeks after putting seed down. I did fertilize with triple 19 after seeding and fertilization, I dragged the field to get good seed to soil contact. It has rained four days in the past 2 1/2 weeks.

This mix was awesome! This was a first time plot. I cleared about a 1/2 acre area, sprayed with glyphosate, waited for everything to die off, tilled in 500 lbs of ag lime, seeded, and cultipacked. The plot came in amazing and the amount of deer it attracted was incredible! The deer herd in the western upper peninsula of Michigan is not the best, but my dad was able to harvest a great buck off this plot late season with his bow on December 22nd. I planted two plots in different areas. The one pictured was disc and dragged. Added 200lbsof fertilizer and 200lbs of lime. It took about 3 weeks to sprout. I have cut it once. It looks good. The deer have not eaten it like I thought they would but it’s early. The second plot was a trail plot. Very little prep work on the woods on logging roads. I added 100lbs of lime and fertilizer. It sprouted but died off. I’m guessing not enough sun light.

This is my 3rd year of using Hot Chic. Been using it along with Comeback Kid as my perennial plot. Frost seeding in the late winter/early spring to get the clover and chicory to establish early before the trees canopy. I’ve always applied barn lime to my plots and hated how much work it took to get it down. From loading up the wheeler with bags of lime to walking and spreading it all by hand made for some long days. Now I’m applying Elbow Grease with less work and in half the time with a backpack sprayer. Soul samples were taken before applying and will take more samples later in the summer to see how much the PH has risen with the use of Elbow Grease.
