First I got AirMini it was a bit too loud (i heard there is not much sound insulation to keep it small compared to stationary machines), and Air Voel suggested I try using Zephair and Q-Lite muffler. It was a massive improvement. Great machine, small and compact -and same quality of therapy as AirSense 11.

When I was diagnosed with serious sleep apnea about 10 years ago I resisted, saying I did not want to be hooked up to a hose. My doctor said I won't know that. I asked him how that's possible. He said that is because I would be asleep. I replace my P10 "nose pillows" about once a year and sleep soundly every night. They take a little getting used to, but that is a minor adjustment for the benefit of eight hours of undisturbed sleep... every night!

I was able to use the micro CPAP as soon as I charged the battery. So quiet and it seemed to adjust the pressure level as I was using it, but the first night I felt it did not adjust fully to my prescribed level. So I downloaded the software and made adjustments. The second night felt better and my wife said my breathing was better. I was able to add a humidifier of sorts between the machine and my headgear for use at home but will need something when I travel. I know a recycle unit is available...

I initially purchased the ResMed AirFit20 Standard , it was a very comfortable fit and very easy to assemble and detach for daily cleaning. However.. I had trouble in "leakage " and woke up with redness around the nose and bridge. I then purchased a ResMed mask "cushion" (memory foam )accessory that fits very well to my AirFit 20 Full Mask system. What a difference!! You do not hear the noise, and very very comfortable fit!! I have been using the "cushion" mask for over a week and NO LEAKS ...
