I was looking for a replacement e-collar at a reasonable price and that is simple to use. It fulfilled everything I need, all great, even a little carrying case to put it all in. My only 'extra' would be that I'd like to be able to hang the hand unit round my neck, safely, which isn't possible. Quite a nice remote collar. I would have preferred a single beep function (with escalating volume) but it works fine. The clip-on collar suits my use. The previous one used had a buckle which was fiddly in the cold. The handset is a good fit in the hand. I have been very impressed so far. Our dog was very reactive to every noise and movement outside the house and his barking was becoming very disruptive. We have been using the noise setting and it has worked to reduce his barking. The first few weeks were fantastic however I have noticed he is becoming used to the noise and it is having less of an effect. I trimmed my dog’s fur exactly as instructed because it said thick fur might interfere with how the collar works. I also adjusted the strap and cut it to the length I needed. Even after all that, the collar still doesn’t respond properly. It doesn’t buzz at all unless my dog barks around 10 times, even with the sensitivity turned all the way up to level 5. The product works but we found there is quite a delay between the 'warnings' and the barking. Our pup barked, a few seconds later there was the beep, then another 1-2 seconds there was the vibration and then another 1-3 seconds was the electricity. So by the time the collar really told him off, he was quiet and it created a really bad loop where he barked, went quiet got buzzed barked again etc etc. Might be something for the dogs that bark incessantly otherwise I'd probably recommend a collar ...
