I absolutely LOVE this basket!! I work out a lot, but having yoga mats, blocks, etc on view in my living room was just too college dorm-like for my 50+ self. Stored in my Dou Bou Ndaw basket, I feel like another piece of art has graced my home and I can pull out a mat whenever I need to get my om on. Thank you!!

I have wanted one of these baskets for almost 20 years, when I was lucky enough to travel to Senegal. Was happy to find one I could purchase from a Senegalese company!! So beautiful and smells like the grass it is made of. I am now storing my daughter’s toys in it (although it is big enough that she can climb in there too 😍).

This basket was everything I was hoping it would be! It’s a nice large size to fit two pillows and 4 blankets (!!!) which was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted something colorful and this delivers- the basket is a light color and the weave is multi-colored which helps it stand out. It really does look like the picture. I’m obsessed with my baskets! I own this basket in brown and 2 other oval baskets (that I hope they’ll bring back in stock!) I wanted to elevate my living environment and the baskets did the trick. I stored jewelry in 2 of my baskets and the other I used as a decorative piece in the foyer. What I love most is that they are well made, the owners of the company are professional and friendly... and the sweet smell of sweet grass whenever I open the baskets.
