This is a fantastic pain blocker. The pain will return of course as the device interferes with the pain signals to the brain. There is a pain/anti inflammation app which I find great. Wish I bought it sooner. I use it at night because I end up with a soaked tshirt otherwise, and during the day I pop it on the breast I'm not feeding from. Very comfortable to wear and suction is very gentle. Wouldn't wear it out because you can clearly see it sticking out but it's great at home. Delivery was very fast so overall I'm very pleased with the purchase.
