This is THE BEST!! We have tried every food holder, chew toy, etc. and my dog - a very aggressive chewer - eats the toys/devices every time with bite marks in the silicone and plastic. No chews last her long either and she has broken a tooth before chewing hard toys. This freezbone is big enough for her to fit her face in and keeps her busy - no eating of the toy!! I have 3 dogs. They all vary with age, 9, 5, and almost 4 months. The 9 year old eats slow and savors her food, hates to be rushed. My 5 year old with anxiety would eat a Buick, and she goes nuts on these and then chews it when she’s done. She usually does 30 minutes of playtime. My 1yo corgi pup loves it! I will either freeze a savory treat or a sweet treat. The savory treat is just some unsalted beef or chicken broth with a few frozen peas. The sweet option is honey greek yogurt with strawberry chunks. It takes him awhile to finish it and it keeps him quiet and occupied! This was a great addition to our sort of "line up" of brainy toys. My puppy adores Freezbone. He started with the heart and star for a small treat of frozen yogurt and pumpkin but he loved them so much I bought the larger sizes. Now I put his whole meal in there for breakfast and he waits by the freezer each morning for his Freezbone of the day. I love the mental stimulation that it provides but my favorite part is how easy it is to clean compared to his Kong. The smooth sides allow cleaning in no time and they are ready to refill. I have a 4 year old GSD mix and a 2 year old staffy mix, both super chewers with lots of energy. When I need to distract them and get some quiet time, these Stars get 5 stars! They hold the perfect amount of filling (mine love puréed pumpkin, Greek yogurt, wet dog food or bone broth) and are deep enough to add little treats or berries.
