Very happy with my first Charcoal Grill, very well made. There are a few recommendations on your Version II. Maybe offer a larger size for the Grill as an option? Installing a Thermometer onto the Grill? Lastly, offer adjustable height for the Grill? It’s already very good now, but can be even better and achieve Perfection!

I store the grill on a shelf in my shed. I have had the carry case for over a year. It’s been to parks the beach even on a boat. I purchased a new one in the event the original one gives out. If it’s worth anything I have almost every accessory and the grill in the case together.

The Yak Grill is a perfect portable. The Prime Bundle includes a carrying case and the silicone pad plus utensils fit snugly inside. The best feature is the quality of steel and the design of all the components. Everything cleans up perfectly with soapy water and a Scotch Pad. This grill will last many years and I've cooked a variety of steaks and thicknesses. It's easy to start and adding charcoal during the grilling process is easy. The quality of design and manufacturing is great.

This whole experience with Yak is the nuts! I just cooked gyro and it was amazing! The heat and efficient use of charcoal is great! And speaking of efficient use, I can get Japanese charcoal lit fast in the Firestack. Then when I’m done I put the charcoal in the bucket and throw in a few light sprinkles of water to help douse the charcoal. Be careful with the steam. Easy to set up and clean up after use Used lump charcoal used charcoal chimney to fire up the charcoal. I skewered some chicken wings with the bone I found the grill was easy to cook them. The charcoal was very hot so I had to keep flipping the chicken keep it from burning. The grill worked great with the skewers.

Got it 2 weeks ago and have already used it 4x with friends. The thing is amazing, perfect size for 1 or 2 people or a group of 6 / 7 people to chill around and cook at your own pace. Relatively easy to clean.

I've never owned a grill before, never had a grill before. Only been to grill outs. I wanted to get one of my own for an outdoor space, and this was great. Was hesitant on some reviews saying it couldn't hold heat, but I'm not sure why because this thing gets real hot. It's cute and small easy on table top and easy to clean. It seems built really well but I've only had it for a month so hopefully it will last me a long time!

Adding the Grill Rods to my Deluxe Bundle order made perfect sense if I wanted to grill yakitori the proper way. Placing the skewers directly over the Binchotan charcoal without the sitting and being compressed on the Mesh Grill Grate is the right way to do yakitori and enhances the cooking experience and more importantly the flavor. I highly recommend the Grill Rods for the best tasting yakitori ever!

Amazing grill. Just the weight of the shipping box was impressive. Stainless steel is used throughout. I’ve been cooking using binchotan charcoal and have absolutely no warping of any kind. If you’ve been wanting a yakitori grill or just a small charcoal grill this is the one to get. There is a competitor grill that I was looking at as well but am extremely happy with the YAK grill.

Living the High Life! Folks this thing is so much fun. We have a family of three and it is the perfect size for us. Purchased this grill to be my travel grill for beach trips to SPI and Yakatori grilling at home. Test run grilled some amazing skirt steak (fajita) made amazing tacos with queso fresco avocado and salsa. Love the size and heavy duty construction plan on taking to beach in 2 weeks I’ll be putting grouper shrimp Mahi Mahi fajita steaks and any other great fresh seafood I can find. This is an over engineered hibachi grill. I love it. Industrial grade stainless steel. And because of the size it is able hold the temperature evenly. Still practicing with the benchotan charcoal. It burns real hot. Super portable and not to mention a breeze to clean and pack up. My advise is to get the bundle. It just makes sense.

Excellent charcoal. I did yakitori off of the yak grill over the 4th of July weekend and threw all different cuts of protein and veges onto the grill. Not one flare-up, burned clean, and very easy to start. I used a chimney starter as I do with my charcoal grills. Maintained consistent heat and burned at the perfect rate. I was excited to get an early production Duo to play with. The first thing I noticed was how sturdy it was with really nice heavy-gauge steel and smooth yellow handles. It took out all the guess work of how much to charcoal to use and what to do with the hot coals after dinner. I love how the lid locks on bucket and then neatly nests inside the chimney to store it away. If you love your YAK grill you will definitely love the Firestack Duo too! Highly recommended.
